PAPR of Pulse Shaped OTFS with Modified Parametric Double-Jump 2 (mDJ2) Pulse
摘要
In this paper, we analyze the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of orthogonal time–frequency space (OTFS) modulation with various pulse shaping. We proposed a modified parametric double-jump 2 (mDJ2) pulse for OTFS uplink-based system and compared it with other existing pulses like parametric double-jump 2 (DJ2), modified similar raised cosine (mSRC) and circular Dirichlet pulse shape (CDPS). The proposed pulse is characterized by second design parameter to control broad of the main lobe. We found that smaller values of β make the main lobe of mDJ2 broader, which reduces the PAPR of the uplink-OTFS system. Simulation results show that mDJ2 pulse outperforms most existing pulses in reducing the PAPR of uplink-OTFS while maintaining BER performance.
