摘要

Every generation of wireless communication systems differs from the last one by changing the modulation types, multiple access techniques, the number of antenna in input and output and other techniques. In line with that, the fifth generation (5G) is used a new multiple access technique named Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). This technique is an efficient candidate to support the huge number of users which are appeared with the development of advanced services including multimedia applications, Internet-of-Things (IoT)-based applications, and vehicle-to-everything (V2X). The NOMA technique uses the power level or the code domain and superimposes coding in the transmitter to share the same time–frequency resources between multiple users. To avoid the inter-user interference in NOMA technique, successive interference cancellation (SIC) algorithm is used to decode the received signals of different users. In this paper, we study two principle steps of NOMA which are the superposition coded and successive interference cancellation. Preliminary simulation results have been achieved to confirm that the achieved rate of NOMA changed with the variation of the SIC error.
