Numerical Investigation of Dual-Band Metamaterial Absorber
摘要
We present a numerical study of a wide-angle, polarization-independent metamaterial absorber consisting of a concentric metal-dielectric-metal nanodisk array on a dielectric-metal substrate. The proposed absorber has dual-band absorption peaks, wherein the spectral characteristic of each peak can be judiciously controlled by controlling the height of the dielectric layers. Such structures can help design absorbing element-based optical devices such as color filters.
