The total recoverable conventional oil and gas resources worldwide are 11,434.9 × 108 tons of oil equivalent, which are mainly concentrated in the Middle East, Russia, Central and South America, and Asia–Pacific. The total technically recoverable unconventional oil and gas resources worldwide are 7249.9 × 108 tons of oil equivalent, which are mainly concentrated in North America, Central and South America, and Russia.
