Key Exploration Areas and Cooperation Directions in the Future

Depending on the extent of exploration, the potential of undiscovered oil and gas resources has been evaluated using scientific methods based on a systematic analysis of the conditions for oil and gas accumulation in each basin. The evaluation results mainly represent the exploration potential of each basin, especially the potential and direction of exploration tasks involving risks. The potential of conventional and unconventional oil and gas resources and the key areas for exploration of such resources in the future can be identified by combining the geological conditions of oil and gas-bearing plays with the potential of undiscovered, recoverable conventional oil and gas resources and the potential of technically recoverable unconventional oil and gas resources.
