摘要

In the mining industry, waste management is a significant sustainability and environmental protection challenge. In particular, stone mines generate a large amount of slurry waste, a combination of water and small stone particles. Improper disposal of this waste can lead to soil and water pollution, which can harm the environment and human health. Thus, there is a need for innovative solutions to manage and reduce stone mine waste. The recycling and reusing stone slurry waste have numerous environmental and economic benefits. Firstly, it reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills, thereby reducing the risk of environmental pollution. Secondly, it conserves natural resources as the stone particles can be reused in construction, reducing the need for new materials. Thirdly, it reduces the cost of waste management and provides an opportunity for additional revenue through the sale of recycled materials. However, implementing stone slurry waste recycling and reuse requires significant investment in equipment and infrastructure. It also requires regulatory support to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards. The present work aims to summarise the available technologies and research towards the sustainable reuse of the stone mine waste.
