Modelling Supply Chain Risks in Firecrackers Manufacturing Firms: Implications for Enhancing Productivity
摘要
Green initiatives hold the potential to reduce pollution in supply chain management. Firms involved in green supply chain management (GSCM) add economic and environmental value to business. Supply chain initiatives also address environmental risk issues. GSCM is crucial in healthcare as healthcare facilities in medical equipment manufacturing firms are dependent on the supply chain. Due to criticality often green initiatives are overlooked in firecrackers manufacturing firm with regard to GSCM, analysis of factors for applying GSCM in firecrackers firm is important. This research work is a case study conducted on one such firecrackers manufacturing firm, to analyse the risks associated when implementing GSCM. GREY-DEMATEL, a MCDM technique, is used research for analysis and to recognize critical risk factors associated with GSCM implementation. The findings indicate that scarcity of organizational workforce quality, poor skills of supplier with respect to GSCM and wrong green techniques are the vital factors. This paper in the form of diagraphs shows the causal relationship between each factor. To implement GSCM, industrial managers should use our outcomes and focus on controlling the risk factors.
