Open Microsurgery for Spinal Vascular Malformations

Spinal vascular malformations are uncommon. The affected spinal segment and the severity of the abnormality determine clinical presentation. Treatment involves multidisciplinary approach consisting of neurovascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, and radiation therapists. Herewith, we review spinal vascular malformations, their classification, and best treatment options.
