Automated Fault Diagnosis System in Wireless Sensor Network: A Fault Node Recovery Algorithm Approach

In WSN, various faults occur due to external and internal influences, low battery, environmental interference, and sensory aging. To handle different kinds of faults, a fault node recovery algorithm is going to implement, which will help to reduce the fault in the wireless sensor network. This research work provides a fault management strategy based on a faulty node recovery algorithm to extend the life span of wireless sensors in the network when certain sensor nodes fail or black out. The algorithm is based on a combination of the genetic and grade diffusion algorithms. The technique may result in fewer sensor node changes and more reused routing pathways.
