Optimal Resource Allocation in Human–Robot Cooperative Assembly System Using Multi-criteria Optimization
摘要
Human–robot collaboration is a significant component of Industry 5.0 technologies to achieve a high degree of reconfigurability. A collaborative and reconfigurable manufacturing system of human and robotic workforce facilitates the manufacturing system with mass production and mass customization. The proposed method consists of a human–robot collaborative (HRC) system that is prompted to solve the issues and generate new variants as per upgradation in the market. The selected work branches into two cases for task allocation of the resources for minimum time, minimum cost, and combined objective. This paper proposes a multi-criteria optimization by the linear regression with optimal point and minimum distance calculation (LROMDC) algorithm for resource allocation. An industrial case study is considered to implement the proposed methodology and justify the correctness and completeness of the proposed method.
