The cardiovascular structure comprises of the heart, arteries, veins, and capillaries. The heart and vessels collectively and complexly deliver blood flow to all parts of the body. The purpose of the cardiovascular structure is to ensure body gets the oxygen, nutrients and other things it desires and gets free of stuffs it doesn’t. Heart, the chief organ in cardiovascular structure, is vital for life. Tissue and muscles constructs this power house structure. Heart encompasses four well-built units that temporarily hold blood before moving it. Electrical compulsions mark heartbeat, moving entire blood over these chambers. Brain and nervous system direct entire heart’s role. The cardiovascular system is an arrangement of organs that comprises the heart, blood vessels, and blood which is dispersed all over the body or further vertebrate. The cardiac sequence refers to pressure, volume, and flow singularities in the ventricles as a function of time. Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the prominent cause of demise globally. CVDs collectively called disorders of the heart and blood vessels and contain coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease and several other conditions also. This chapter describes the cardiovascular system, heart function including heart rate and its sound, types of cardiovascular disease along with their sign and symptoms.
