Computational Analysis of 3D Craniofacial Imaging
摘要
Craniofacial imaging is an important technique that offers baseline information about the patients and helps the physician to understand the relationship between the underlying osseous structures, soft tissues, and the dentoalveolar components before developing a treatment plan for different craniofacial abnormalities. The advent of 3D imaging technologies has led to the application of computational approaches for diagnosing craniofacial abnormalities and analyzing the human face. The current chapter discusses the computational analysis techniques in craniofacial imaging, their applications, and their drawbacks.
