Importance of Traditional Resources in Pharmaceutical Industries
摘要
The pharmaceutical sector is the largest growing sector in the context of medical science worldwide. Since the introduction of human civilization to today, huge improvements and inventions are visible to improve the healthcare system through the development of the pharmaceutical sector. Scientists from all over the world have been conducting more and more researches incessantly to improve this sector. Although most of the threatening diseases have been cured by inventing many lifesaving drugs, still there are many fatal diseases by which many people have been suffering and also have died every year. That’s why more and more researches have been necessary always. In modern allopathic medicine system, numerous types of drugs have been used. Among these drugs, most of them were originated from natural resources. And this system was developed from traditional medicine system, which is still very much popular, and well-accepted techniques in many parts of the world. All of these natural resources are main fundamentals of traditional medicine. Utilization of these resources paved the way of pure drug substances and their derivatives. Subsequently, through the use of computer-aided drug designing system and synthetic chemistry, numerous compounds have been invented having various types of pharmacological benefits.
