Focal Points of a New Round in the High-Level Opening-Up of Qianhai

The optimization and upgrading of domestic industries in China have entered a critical stage, and the development of the modern service industry, especially, the production service industry, plays a decisive role for all countries in the world in the process of integrating into the global value chain. This article analyzes the functional mechanism of the agglomeration, development and opening-up of the modern service industry on the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry from the perspectives of the economies of scale effect and the knowledge spillover effect, and discusses the focal points and developmental path of the Qianhai Shenzhen and Hong Kong Modern service Industry Cooperation Zone, the pioneering zone for the development of the modern service industry in China.
