Healthcare—Perfect Realization of Intelligent Optical Sensors

In the modern medical background, the personalized, real-time and efficient healthcare has become an inevitable trend, in which intelligent optical sensors are indispensable thrust. The camera-based physiological monitoring method has liberated the inefficiency and inconvenience of traditional medical treatment, and has played a full role in today's medical field by virtue of its low cost and portability. With the development of technology, the concept of health has also been expanded. In this chapter, we describe non-contact routine physiological monitoring and a comprehensive approach to physiological signal analysis. We also introduce one of the future trends in health sensing, from passive blind stimulation to active real-time physiological feedback.
