Active Vision Camera System
摘要
In this chapter, we propose an intelligent camera system based on active vision sensing technology. It is able to capture visible and near-infrared signals using ambient light, and combines algorithms and embedded hardware at the front end, thus solving the challenges of traditional cameras with limited field of view and monitoring targets, and color distortion. We describe in detail the adaptive exposure control scheme, the image processor adapted to RGB-IR, and the flexible task scheduling mechanism in the active vision camera system. In experiments and practical applications, the intelligent sensor camera system significantly improves the quality of image acquisition in foggy and low-light environments at night, especially improving the effect of face detection.
