Multi-spectral Sensors and Applications in Various Domains

This chapter introduces multispectral sensing technology and its applications in agriculture, environmental monitoring, medical imaging and other fields. Multispectral sensing technology detects and analyzes target substances by capturing spectral band information at different wavelengths, which can reveal more material properties of target objects than traditional imaging technologies. Modern multispectral sensors are rapidly developing towards higher spectral resolution, more powerful data processing capabilities, lower costs, and more compact integrated designs. At the same time, with miniaturization, their application scope extends to portable devices, drones and other new platforms. Combining machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms, data analysis and application are more accurate and efficient.
