Introduction Part II

摘要

Throughout history, Asia has endured numerous atrocities against humanity, yet Western media and canonical academia have largely overlooked the region's experiences, hindering collective learning from past transgressions and perpetuating the likelihood of their recurrence. In this context, the understanding of human rights remains insufficiently explored and comprehended. Frequently, human rights issues are reduced to mere rhetorical tools by political entities. This disregard for the gravity of human rights has led to the negligent infringement of fundamental rights within marginalized and vulnerable communities, with little accountability for such actions. A pervasive and corrupt social structure further obstructs legal opposition to these violations.
