A Certificate Transparency-Based Certificate Monitoring Scheme for the Power Grid
摘要
With the exponential evolution and development of the Internet, the security of infrastructure and network information has become increasingly important. As a critical component of infrastructure, the power grid plays a crucial role in ensuring the supply of electricity. However, there are many challenges and issues in the issuance and use of certificates in the context of power grid scenarios, lacking a fair and tamper-proof certificate monitoring scheme to ensure the security of the certificates. This paper proposes a certificate monitor scheme for power equipment by using certificate transparency logs, Ethereum’s distributed database technology, and machine learning detection algorithms to achieve transparent management and monitoring device certificates. By uploading certificate transparency logs to the Ethereum blockchain, the proposal ensures the transparency of certificate operations by certificate authorities, preventing malicious tampering and inappropriate behavior. Furthermore, the certificate detection based on machine learning algorithm provides real-time monitoring of certificate validity and integrity, and further detecting potential certificate issues and security threats. The analysis shows that this scheme enhances the trustworthiness and security of certificate monitor for power grid, and provides assurance for the stable operation of the power grid.
