A Fast Algorithm for Finding a Safe Steady State Point for Asynchronous RM Real-Time Systems

Rate Monotonic (RM) model are widely used in real-time systems. The schedulability test is a significant problem in the design of asynchronous RM real-time systems. The test interval given by the existing researches is too large, so it needs to be optimized to reduce the test interval for improving the test efficiency, and thus it is very important to find a proper starting test point. In this paper, we propose a fast algorithm which finds a safe steady state point quickly than existing ones. Simulation results show that our algorithm outperforms existing ones.
