Teaching Ergonomics Using Virtual Reality (VR) to Higher Education Learners
摘要
Ergonomics refers to the scientific study of workers in their working environment. The aims of ergonomics are to strategize or modify the work environment to fit the worker instead of vice versa, hence discomfort can be eliminated, and risk of injuries can be reduced. Upon investigation, many ergonomic studies were conducted for employees instead of higher education learners although ergonomics knowledge is vital as a preparation before these learners go through internship and employment. Hence, this paper discussed the design and development of VR-ERGO based on constructivism theory. The outcome of this study is a workflow and storyboard of VR-ERGO.
