Digital Farming Solution by Automation Using Agri-Bot, Agri-Drone, and Agri-AGV for Organic Farming Practices

Digital farming solutions (DFSs) using Robot (Agri-Bot), Drone (Agri-Drone), and Agri-AGVs technologies can be used for precision and organic agricultural practices as a demand of next generation for agricultural automation systems. This paper discusses about land preparation, sowing, interculture operations like weed removal, spraying, harvesting, post-harvesting using field robot, drones (UAV), AGVs for farm operations using sensor-based AI, DL, ML, and big data practices which can be optimistic solutions in developing a Decision Support System (DSS). Hybrid energy using digital technologies can be new practices for automated field operational activities to improve and increase the yield in crop production system which is the new research field in agribusiness. The use of sensors using Mechatronics system for precision agriculture can be beneficial to develop the low-cost technology-based devices for farmers or researchers. The digital technologies in precision land preparation, grafting, transplanting, pest detection, and harvesting technologies are explained and exercised to best fitting purpose with commercialization opportunities at global level attention. The DFSRDA centre of excellence provides a digital technologies resources such as Robotics, UAVs, AGVs, CAD/CAM/CAE lab, Mechatronics, Hydraulics and Pneumatic Lab, Blended Learning, AR/VR system, digital classrooms and organic field practices for the digital farming society.
