Research on the Innovative Application of Computer Aided Design in Environmental Design

Since the 1980s, The computer-aided design technology has been widely introduced into China, applied in the field of environmental design. The application of this technology has also been rapidly developed and used by many enthusiasts and designers. With the development of China's environmental design industry, professional talents are constantly emerging, traditional hand drawing methods have undergone changes, and the application of computer-aided design technologies (AutoCAD, 3dsmax, Photoshop) is deepening. This technology has advantages such as speed, accuracy, and ease of modification, which has also been recognized by staff and product design enthusiasts. Many design companies and related units regard this technology as a necessary skill for internships. In this situation, schools should strengthen their attention to the application of computer-aided design technology in teaching, enabling students to learn and apply this technology more efficiently and proficiently, and providing support for future work. This article analyzes the problems in the teaching of computer-aided design courses in universities, and explores how to improve existing teaching methods by introducing modern case teaching methods and project-based inquiry teaching models based on relevant course practices.
