A Multiparty Reversible Data Hiding Scheme in Encrypted Domain Based on Hybrid Encryption

摘要

The existing multiparty reversible data hiding in encrypted domain (MRDHED) is unstable since its embedding capacity depends on the original image distribution or the number of generated encrypted images. In this paper, a stable MRDHED method by hybrid encryption is proposed. The advanced encryption standard (AES) algorithm is adopted to encrypt an original image to generate an AES-based image. The AES-based image is divided into multiple non-overlapping sub-images by image segmentation. The sub-images are reassembled to generate multiple reassembled images in a loop. A (2, 2) Chinese remainder theorem-based (CRT-based) secret sharing is used to encrypt the reassembled images to obtain the corresponding encrypted images. With the homomorphism of the CRT-based secret sharing, the secret message can be concealed into each encrypted image. Experimental results exhibit that the proposed method has stable embedding capacity regardless of the original image distribution and the number of generated encrypted images, while improving the computational overhead.
