Attachment to Place, Nostalgia and ‘Home’

In this chapter, we explore three components of heri-ligion as mentioned in this chapter’s title that assist us to unpack the complexities of the social and cultural processes that have unfolded in Yim Tin Tsai. While we have separated these three elements into separate sections to facilitate understanding, in reality this separation is artificial and attachment to place is multidimensional and intertwined, entangled and connected with nostalgia and ‘home’ in a variety of ways.
