The Hierarchical Culture and Communication in Health Care
摘要
Cultural values underlying health professional-patient communication, especially the acceptance of social hierarchy in society, can potentially cause communication problems. In each of the chapters, we present a girl named Alia as a member of society (not her true name) from this cultural background to explain the phenomenon of doctor-patient communication.
