摘要

The provision of a personalized experience and service to a customer is made possible by augmented hospitality, which anticipates their wants. In the words of the Accor Group’s vision statement, augmented hospitality is “not only about planning tomorrow, but it is all about designing tomorrow.” The authors’ goal in writing this chapter is to examine the literature in the research environment, ascertain the pattern of authorship, and pinpoint the articles and themes in the hotel industry that are most narrowly focused. The chapter is based on bibliometric analysis of articles published in web-of-science listed journals between 2010 and 2022; data for the analysis was gathered from 16 top web-of-science journals. According to the study’s findings, there was a significant increase in the number of articles with an augmented hospitality context between 2010 and 2020. Of the 16 top journals examined, Procedia Computer Science (Elsevier) and the International Journal of Data and Network Science were the two most active in publishing augmented hospitality-related articles. According to the author, citation, institution, and nation, contributors were identified. The most studied management subdiscipline issue in hospitality research was discovered to be customer experience, whereas artificial intelligence appeared to be the most investigated topic in augmented reality. This study is the first to provide a bibliometric analysis of research on enhanced hospitality.
