Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of 4-Thiazolidinone Scaffold: A Versatile Chemistry and Diverse Biological Applications in the Drug Discovery and Development
摘要
Thiazolidinone and its derivatives are very promising scaffolds for various biological activities like antimicrobial, antitubercular, anticancer, anti-HIV, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antimalarial, etc. Due to this reason, in the chapter, we have emphasized this scaffold. Many novel compounds containing thiazolidinone moiety have been synthesized by several research groups which have shown promising biological activity. The information given in this chapter will show the effective contribution of various biological evaluations for thiazolidinone moiety.
