Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Fused Thiazolotriazole and Imidazothiadiazole Scaffolds
摘要
Sulfur heterocycle synthesis has drawn much interest because of its biological importance and wide-ranging medicinal applications. Combining two heterocyclic moieties has been explored several times to create fused sulfur-based heterocyclic derivatives. Thanks to their wide range of physiological activities, fused heterobicyclic complexes have grown significantly in significance in medicinal chemistry. Thiazolotriazole and Imidazothiadiazole are two fused compounds reviewed in this chapter, along with their synthesis and biological activities. The isomers of fused thiazolotriazoles are used and several methods for preparing them were examined. A fused heterocyclic molecule with thiadiazole and imidazole ring systems is known as imidazothiadiazole. Numerous pharmacological applications of imidazo[2,1-b] [1,3,4]thiadiazole include tubulin inhibitor, anti-tumor, anti-cancer, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-tubercular, anti-convulsant, anti-fungal, and as enzyme inhibitors. Additionally, the fused compound's conclusion and potential are examined.
