Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Some Thietane Derivatives
摘要
Thietanes are significant aliphatic four-membered thiaheterocycles that are found in both the medicinal core and the structural motifs of some biological compounds. In organic synthesis, they are also helpful intermediates. Numerous studies pertaining to sulfur-based heterocycles have been covered in this chapter. Based on the conclusions drawn from the research conducted by different research groups worldwide, it is necessary to do additional research on this medicinally active fundamental nucleus due to its multifunctional features.
