Exploring Various Switching Techniques Employed in Designing a Reconfigurable Antenna: A Review
摘要
The requirement for antennas that can be reconfigured with multimode has become urgent because of the rapid growth of wireless communication system, especially in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) services and active radio techniques. Reconfigurable multimode antennas can perform a variety of tasks with regard to polarization, operating frequency, and pattern. A certain switching mechanism can be dynamically changed by controlling electrical, physical, mechanical, or optical switches. The most common type of switch utilized in the creation of reconfigurable antennas is an electronic switch because of its efficiency, durability, the simplicity of incorporation into microwave circuitry. The many reconfigurable antennae based on swinging approaches will be discussed in this paper. A variety of successful implementation techniques have been researched for use in MIMO, satellite, and CR systems, among other wireless communication systems.
