Frequency Analysis Using 2-Variate Archimedean Copula

China's varied climate, large area, and complex topography pose significant challenges in identifying an appropriate copula function to capture the diversity and complexity of drought in different climatic regions. Therefore, this study seeks to improve upon previous research by testing the performance of nineteen bivariate Archimedean copulas, most of which have not been explored for regional drought analysis.
