Cavovarus Foot
摘要
Cavovarus deformity is defined with a high plantar arch, deep first ray, varus position of the heel, and forefoot equinus. It is mostly related to neurological disorders, but it can be seen as a sequelae of congenital disorders or post-traumatic conditions as well. Apart from the underlying etiology, cavovarus deformity is the result of the muscle imbalance in the musculature of the foot, and depending on the involved muscles, the etiology of the disorder, and time to presentation, the appearance of the foot may differ between the patients.
