Intelligent Monitoring and Management System for Coal Mines Using Internet of Things Technology

摘要

The underground environment of coal mines is quite unique, and the disasters that occur are also serious. In order to ensure the safety of underground workers, the underground environmental monitoring system of coal mines plays an important role. This article proposes a coal mine underground environmental monitoring system based on fiber optic Internet of Things transmission, taking into account the technological advantages of fiber optic anti-interference long-distance and large capacity transmission. By analyzing the environmental parameters and types of electromagnetic interference in coal mines, four parameters, namely temperature, methane concentration, carbon monoxide concentration, and oxygen concentration were selected for collection. The hardware circuit of the system was designed. Simulation experiments were conducted on the system using a testing platform, and the data transmission function of the system was tested. The average time required for each request was approximately 15.8 ms, verifying the feasibility of the design. The intelligent monitoring method for coal mines in this article helps to improve the safety of coal mining.
