Advanced Voice Analysis Platform Based on MATLAB Software

This study focuses on the phonetic development of an English-Chinese bilingual infant under the age of two years. A speech analysis platform is developed using MATLAB, which can automatically segment speech samples and analyze related acoustic parameters. By tracking and recording children's speech and using the method of speech experiment, this paper studies the vocal expression of infants before the age of two, expands the vision of infant speech research, and summarizes the phased characteristics and rules of the development of bilingual infants’ speech on the basis of large corpus analysis.
