The Problem-Oriented Medical Record (POMR) for Inpatients

Inpatients are individuals who require hospitalization for diagnostic procedures and/or treatments. They involve three processes: admission, hospitalization, and discharge. Each process requires the corresponding patient’s medical record, including the admission note, progress note, and discharge summary. The entire process can be summarized in a problem list.
