It follows logical and scientific principles and involves gathering information from the patient, analyzing the gathered information, and making a diagnosis based on the analysis. Clinical reasoning encompasses not only the process of diagnosing a patient’s condition but also the planning and implementation of appropriate treatment and the evaluation of treatment outcomes.
