An Exploratory Study on the Design of Human-Computer Interaction Interfaces for Augmented Reality Integrated Museum Exhibitions

摘要

This study explores the role of augmented reality (AR) technology in enhancing museum exhibition experiences, especially the design of AR human-computer interaction interfaces. The study collected the feedback from 56 interviewed audience members on museum AR displays through a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire includes 6 dimensions: AR technology experience, AR display attitude, interaction experience, etc. Results show satisfaction degrees across dimensions ranging from 75% to 85%. Display effect is the most satisfactory while human-computer interaction still has room for optimization. Discussions indicate that the application of AR technology can effectively enhance the attractiveness of museum exhibitions, but interface designs must be humanized, personalized, and aligned with exhibition needs. More research on interface optimization could be conducted in the future. Overall, AR technology will be one of the important approaches for museum digital transformation, but human-computer interaction still needs continuous improvements to elevate audience experiences. This study provides a framework and inspiration for the subsequent application of AR in the museum field. The main conclusions are: AR technology can effectively enhance the appeal of museum exhibitions. The design of AR human-computer interaction interfaces is critical and needs continuous optimization. The application of AR technology is an important approach for museum digital transformation. This study lays the foundation for subsequent AR application research in the museum field.
