摘要

Plasmacytoma is a malignant tumor formed by monoclonal proliferation of mature B cells secreting clonal immunoglobulin with light chain inhibition at the end of differentiation. Plasmacytoma includes multiple myeloma (MM) and solitary plasmacytoma (SP) [1–5]. Unlike MM, SP has limited lesions and often has no abnormal bone marrow changes. Depending on location, SP is further classified into solitary plasmacytoma of bone (SPB) and extramedullary plasmacytoma (EMP). SPB in the mandible is rare, involving the mandible more than the maxilla. As the most active hematopoietic region, the mandibular ramus, angle, and molar region are the most common sites of occurrence [3–5].
