Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma
摘要
Mesenchymal chondrosarcoma is a rare malignant tumor, accounting for 3–9% of all sarcomas [1–5]. It can occur in the parts of cranial and maxillofacial cartilage, and is prevalent in 20–30-year-olds, without obvious gender tendency. Due to lack of specific clinical and imaging manifestations, the diagnosis requires histopathological examination [6, 7]. Radical extensive excision is an effective method for the treatment of mesenchymal chondrosarcoma. Due to its high rate of late recurrence, long-term postoperative follow-up is recommended.
