摘要

Chondroblastoma (CB) is a relatively rare chondrogenic primary bone tumor, commonly found in the epiphysis and apophysis of the long limbs, such as the trochanter major of the femur, the tibial tuberosity, and the greater tuberosity of the humerus, but rarely in the maxillofacial region [1–4]. For maxillofacial region, chondroblastoma may found in the squamous portion of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and in the temporal bone. Due to its low incidence rate, chondroblastoma is not easy to be recognized by clinicians. Most chondroblastomas are benign, but a few lesions are locally invasive, leading to a high rate of local recurrence and malignancy [5, 6].
