Odontogenic Ghost Cell Carcinoma

Ghost cell odontogenic carcinoma (GCOC) is a rare odontogenic tumor with both features of calcifying odontogenic cyst containing unequal quantities of ghost cells and malignant cytologic features with unpredictable biological behaviors and difficult clinical and imaging diagnosis [1–6]. Radical resection with a negative surgical margin is the pivotal treatment, nevertheless more studies are required to verify the benefit of postoperative adjuvant therapy [7–13]. As per GCOC has a high rate of local relapse, thereby long-term postoperative follow-up is recommended.
