Intangible Cultural Heritage Art Exhibition System Based on Mobile Virtual Reality Technology

To address the challenges of preserving and passing on intangible cultural heritage techniques in the contemporary era, the author suggests the implementation of a display system utilizing mobile virtual reality technology. This system will utilize the immersive, interactive, and imaginative nature of virtual reality technology, as well as the regional, unique, and dynamic nature of intangible cultural heritage techniques, in order to provide viewers with an immersive experience in showcasing intangible cultural heritage techniques. Using Xiuyan jade carving technology as a case study, the author extensively explores the design principles, technical platform, process flow, and the integration of virtual technology in jade carving. This detailed examination is based on a combination of literature review and on-site investigations. The experimental outcomes reveal that the users’ overall satisfaction with the platform stands at 79.4%. The Xiuyan Jade Craft Visualization Platform delivers a commendable user experience, showcasing innovation in craftsmanship presentation. Its interactive features contribute significantly to promoting the inheritance and dissemination of Xiuyan jade carving techniques.
