With the complexity of working conditions, the application of large and thick plates in engineering structures is more and more extensive, and the welding problem of large and thick plates has gradually attracted the attention of researchers. At present, the large and thick plates welding encountered in the manufacturing of thick wall structures are mainly submerged arc welding, electroslag welding and multi-layer multi-pass welding processes.
