The rocket engine igniter, used to initiate the engine’s start sequence, is one of the complex components made from different materials. In traditional manufacturing industry, the igniter is made using a process called brazing, which connects two types of metals by melting, forming a bimetallic component. The brazing process requires a lot of manual work, leading to high costs and extended manufacturing procedure.
