This chapter focuses on the visualization techniques of social networks. First, it reviews the literature on data visualization and social network visualization, explaining how visualization technology helps users understand complex network structures and uncover hidden patterns. Next, this chapter explores the classification of social network visualization layouts, demonstrating how different layout methods can clearly present the internal structure of networks. It also introduces commonly used social network visualization tools, with a focus on how to use Gephi and igraph. Through case studies, this chapter illustrates the effective application of these tools in visualizing social networks.
