The evolution of technology has increased productivity by making life easier for people. Taking references from the successful models from developed countries and comparing them with parameters of Indian smart cities and the ‘Complete Streets Framework Toolkit’, to understand the integration of smart technologies to facilitate the increasing urban population in Anna Nagar of Chennai city. The increase in mobile use and the introduction of new 5G technologies facilitated in the urban context enhances the quality of infrastructure facilities for the urban population through safety, commutable, connectivity, and information knowledge.
