Safe Seismic Distance Between Adjacent Ground-Mounted Photovoltaic Panels
摘要
This paper presents the seismic performance of ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) modules. The seismic performance of the PV module is evaluated for sets of near-field (NF) and far-field (FF) ground motion records. The selected ground motions are matched to the target spectra in IS-1893 (Part-I):2016 for different soil conditions and seismic intensities. The varied capacity and supporting module systems are considered in the analysis. The time history analysis is performed using a finite element program. The module’s performance is compared to the selected set of ground motions. Based on the study, critical aspects of minimum separable distance are suggested.
