Evaluation of Structure Safety
摘要
As a man-made construction, the stability of the architectural structure of a reservoir dam is of utmost importance. The reliability and stability of hydraulic structures directly impact the secure and stable operation of the entire project. The safety assessment and maintenance of dam structures are particularly crucial. Structural safety evaluation mainly includes the review of structural strength, deformation and stability of the building. The purpose of structural safety evaluation is to review whether the deformation, strength, and stability of dams (including near-dam bank slopes) meet requirements under static conditions. The analysis of deformation and stability should be emphasized for earth-rock dams, while the analysis of strength and stability should be emphasized for concrete dams, masonry dams, water release structures, and water conveyance structures.
