Evaluation on Construction Quality

Due to the project’s age and early construction, it is possible that the original design and current state may not meet contemporary design and construction standards (Zhang et al. in Water Resour Hydropower Eng 46(1):1–10, 2015 [1]). The impact of this on the structures’ safety must be evaluated, and a thorough analysis of specific items such as seepage safety, structural integrity, and seismic safety should be conducted. If the evaluation indicates that the structure of the dam fails to meet the necessary safety standards for the engineering project or experiences significant quality deficiencies, an evaluation of the impact on the dam’s safety shall occur to determine the necessity of addressing them.
